A special event featuring Swagata Ghosh, writer and researcher from Bath Spa University, and Tanusree Guha, the well-known London-based singer.

Swagata Ghosh works in higher education at Bath Spa University. Since 2011 she has written and published works on the socio-cultural impact of Rammohun Roy in Britain and beyond
between 1830-1833.

She has also produced a film on Raja Rammohun Roy.

Tanusree Guha is a banker by profession but is well known here in UK as a prolific singer. She is
a Visharad in Rabindra Sangeet with distinction under Bangiya Parishad. She has also
performed at the Season of Bangla Drama, Jaipur Literary Fest at the Royal Festival Hall.  
Tanusree takes a very keen interest in the heritage and history of Bengal.  Being a part of the
250th birth anniversary celebrations of Raja Rammohan Roy is a huge milestone and she is
delighted to be part of this glorious journey.
